The Naija Experience - 2024

This series was created as part of The Naija Experience, a 2024 photography exhibition held at Artists Image Resource in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

 

I took all the photos featured in the show, capturing the richness of Nigerian culture through portraiture, fashion, and storytelling from traditional attire and hairstyles to moments of pride, resilience, and joy.

The event was organized in collaboration with Ifeoluwa Orebiyi, Teniola Odumosu, and myself, and featured an immersive celebration of Nigerian heritage with music, food, performance, and visual art, all designed to honor and amplify the voices and beauty of our community.
