Natural Hair Project
Celebrating Natural Hair beauty.
This was a project I thought of and was inspired Dr. Mary McCampbell event called Black Girl Magic. This project was done in collaboration with Olive Photography. I did this project to help talk about natural Hair and how women should not be discriminated because they leave their hair in the natural state. It was done to show the beauty in Natural Hair.
Probantu Collection
I have had the opportunity to capture the clothing designs of a very talented Fashion Designer by the name of Christian Diboko AKA Kongo Mani. He is the owner of Probantu Clothings. He is more than a designer, he is a visionary and a Pan African. He puts a lot of time and effort into his craft to make sure it tells the story of the Black race in the world.
FotosMagazine Golden Meetup
I had the opportunity to attend fotosmagazine golden meetup briefly and meet amazing photographers and models. The theme was "Golden" which was inspired and hosted by Sara Cronin. The mood board featured joyful and colorful themes. I have not done a creative shoot in a while so it was good to break my creative block. Music Artists Collaboration
I have had the opportunity over time to capture musical artists that are one of the best in their fields. I was tasked with the challenge of bringing their artistic side through the pictures. The artists featured are two individuals with a two-time Latin Grammy Award Nominee, Dr. Jose Valentino, and Giovanni Perez.
Other artists captured were; Jalil Mohammad, Jay Newsome, and Tsai-Wei Li.
The Nigerian Child
Capturing the soul of a Nigerian child
This was a personal project I did in Nigeria to talk about the Nigerian child and how the future should be focused on them. I tried to showcase Nigeria through these pictures. The pictures should leave you thinking about the future generation of Nigeria.
