About
Hello, I'm Chike (also known as Joseph). Thank you for exploring my work.

I capture the world through my perspective documenting moments, culture, and community through photography.

I started taking photos in 2011 with a Sony Cybershot. From 2014 to 2018, while living in Cleveland, Tennessee, my work was featured in the Lee University Centennial Book, collaborations with award-winning artist Jose Valentino, and in the Cleveland Daily Banner. Those moments shaped my creative journey.

In 2019, I moved to Pittsburgh for graduate school (M.Sc in Data Analytics) and discovered an even deeper connection to visual storytelling. My focus evolved toward documenting cultural expression particularly through portraits, fashion, and conceptual photography.

In 2024, I curated The Naija Experience: A Photography Journey, an exhibition celebrating the beauty and diversity of Nigerian culture. Featured in TribLive, the exhibition was praised for its emotion, creativity, and powerful visual storytelling. This project represents my commitment to preserving and showcasing African diaspora culture through visual documentation.

My work reflects the communities and emotions that shape me. Photography is my creative outlet—a way to connect, reflect, and express life through my lens. Every image carries emotional depth and tells a story about the people and cultures I document.
This is a personal portfolio representing years of creative exploration and cultural documentation. I do this for passion and personal fulfillment, not as a commercial endeavor.

COMMUNITY VOICES
Kind words from friends and community members I've worked with on creative projects and cultural collaborations.

It was a really nice experience for me. A wonderful memory of my day you helped me create. You modified the big picture and opinions I had in my head for the remembrance of that day. I appreciate the effort you put into taking the picture to make me happy and comfortable with the photos. Thanks for having me friend.

When I first collaborated with him. I said to myself: "Wow!" He knows what he wants and he can relate to your vision and make your imagination come alive in every picture. His pictures are beautiful and original, and, the most important thing, 100% reliable.
